going on vacation

anyone from the austin, texas area?? i'm going there next month - any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

I'm not in the austin area but I my sis lives there.
Places to go...is 6th street downtown.
Lots of clubs, live bands, and partying.
If ya see a band playing called BANG....go check it out...it's a Hair Metal cover band made byt members of Vallejo. they play songs from Ratt, Gun N Roses, LA Guns, Bullet Boys, etc.
Also...there is a band called ULRTASONIC....if they play go to that, they are a kick-ass Rock Punk kinda band.
There is Rock-n-Roll Club called THE BACKROOM.
but no one worth seeing is playing this month.
Other than that....Austin is a happening place.

Also...got to the Bat Bridge.
It's a closed bridge that is now like a tourist attraction...you go there at sunset and watch all like a million bats flying out. I know people come from other states to see that.
also, there is Mt. Bunnel....in the hills....ya walk up to the top...and that's if ya legs don't give out before that....but once ya reach the top it's amazing...ya can see all of Austin.
there are lots of good eating places like Magnolia Bar and Grill, and a awesome authentic Mexican resturaunt called El Gayo.
and last...to bring back the music topic back....
